1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PLENS ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PLENS is a product-knowledge tool that connects to public GitHub repositories, analyzes merged pull requests using AI, and presents changes in plain business language. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Bring Your Own API Key

PLENS operates on a "bring your own key" (BYOK) model. You provide your own Anthropic API key to power the AI analysis. You are solely responsible for any costs incurred through the Anthropic API. Your key is encrypted at rest and never stored in plaintext.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use the Service to process repositories you do not have the right to access.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your code and repository data. PLENS does not claim ownership over any content you process through the Service. The AI-generated summaries and feature descriptions are derived from your data and belong to you.

The PLENS name, logo, and application code are the property of PLENS and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PLENS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

The AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis produced by the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all your data.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page.
